For home accessories, I generally like to use things that have meaning to me, such as family photos, things I’ve gotten (or been gifted) on my travels, items I’ve accumulated over the years, etc.  Things that hold memories, so that when I walk into my home it really feels like my home.  However, I do like to add a decorative accessory here and there to style things up a bit
I look at home accessories the same way as I do fashion accessories.  They kinda top things off, but can pack a big punch when it comes to the look as a whole.  I like to hunt out things for my home, before I’m even ready to buy, so that when I am ready I know exactly where to go.  That’s where Etsy comes in.  It’s been a little while since I have gotten a chance to check out what’s new (well new to me) on Etsy.  So, today I did a little digging and couldn’t wait to share these gooorgeous finds! ÂÂ

For those who are new to Etsy, all of the items shown below are hand made…impressive huh!!

I had to share these jewelry pieces that I came across while admiring all the sculptures by Fanciful Form.  Aren’t they cute!!  Each piece is hand sculpted from a lightweight, hard bake, durable, waterproof, poly clay blend and are lead and nickle free.

Doesn’t this one remind you of the “everlasting gobstopper” from the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
?  I love it! LOL

Ok, so I don’t know how many of us shop at Tiffany, but I am loving these Tiffany Keys necklaces that I found while checkin out Strawberry Lemonade.  I am now on the hunt for my own vintage key, to add to a necklace.  Who knows, if I find some I like, I may even do a giveaway

I can’t wait ’til I get my pretty new necklace in the mail!! I came across Mirror Mirror a few weeks ago while perusing Decor8, and I noticed that the writers of the Mirror Mirror blog have a boutique (I love boutiques). Check it out. They have some of the cutest and most unique things for sale, which are hand made by extremely talented up-and-coming designers in London and abroad. The owners of Mirror Mirror were so great to shop with too. When I originally inquired about the necklace, the designer was still working on them, so I couldn’t get one right away. Paola Thomas (owner of mirror mirror) and Diane Aston James kept me up to date with details on when the necklace would be finished and then emailed me early this morning to let me know it was ready. Talk about a personal shopping experience! I love finding shops that have such special items and great people
