I just had to share these Halloween pictures with you all. Â They are from the 2009Â Tompkins Square Dog Halloween Parade and Costume Contest (which, according to Wikipedia, is the largest in the US). Â When we dress ours up, they go crazy and start running laps around the house lol These adorable puppies are troopers and SO full of character!

Halloween is next week, which means Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah are right around the corner. Â I usually wait until close to the last minute to start decorating, but I know many people who are gearing up now. Â I’m really loving all of the fun and stylish decorations available this year. Â I enjoy traditional holiday decor because it always reminds me of home and family, but I also love the fact that you don’t have to stick with traditional if you don’t want to. Â You can style your holiday decor around your home’s style and colors. Â Check out some of the new decor from cb2 (crate and barrel’s sister store) and crate and barrel.

Can you believe that Halloween is really just around the corner? Â I can’t believe how fast this year is going by! Â I don’t really decorate my place for Halloween, but I do like carving pumpkins, dressing up, and making little fun treats. Â I came across these adorable and creative Halloween treats that I am just dying to try out. Â I think they’d be fun for adults and for kids (especially since us adults get to act like big kids on Halloween
). Â What about you guys…anyone gearing up for Halloween yet?? Â I love seeing all the fun and creative costumes that people come up with. I have some friends who have planned their Halloween costumes months in advance!
