Fall is just around the corner and I can feel it in the air. It’s just a little more crisp out there today isn’t it? Summer is my favorite season, but fall does make me feel all warm and cozy, snuggled up in front of a good movie 
The colors of the trees as the leaves change are just amazing.  I was out in the yard this evening and I noticed that the color of the hydrangeas had changed so much since my nephew and I picked my birthday flowers, back in June.

I loved the bright pink and purple back in June, but the green with pink tips is oh so pretty.

I can not wait to crack open my new books and get lots of new decorating inspirations from them.  Easy Flowers is just perfect for me.  I love flowers and love displaying them in my place. Easy Flowers not only gives you great arranging ideas, but also gives great tips for how to achieve the desired look (and it’s great just simply great eye candy). Creating Vintage Style is another great find.  It gives step by step projects on how to create various vintage looks…and I looove vintage.  Here’s a sneak peak

I love flowers.  Especially today because ITS MY BIRTHDAYYY!!  Flowers are one of those things that just make me feel good and brighten up my mood, as well as my room.  Every once in a while, I’ll go to the little food co-op on the corner and pick up some flowers for myself, just because.  Today, instead of going out to buy some flowers, I decided to go outside and pick some from my parents yard for free. ÂÂ
I am learning more and more how to appreciate and find joy in the little things.  Those are the things that really count, right?  ;)

Who doesn’t like to get flowers every now and then? I know I love flowers of all kinds. Flowers and plants in general bring instant life into a room and connect us with nature. For me, a room is not complete until I add some type of plant life. I also love to have a sweet smell in the air at all times, so I have to have my fragrance diffusers throughout the place Today I found Melrose Fields, who combine the scent with the flowers. They create silk floral arrangements and infuse them with the scent of your choice (they also use the vase you choose as well). Their flowers are beautiful, and since they’re silk, there’s no maintenance for you. While it is wonderful to have live plants in the house, you don’t necessarily have to have all the plants be live plants because it can become costly to keep fresh flowers all the time
