It is so easy to be distracted by all of the hustle and bustle of this time of year. Picking up that last minute gift, getting the best sales, being bombarded by advertisers, making the perfect Christmas meal and ensuring that your home is perfect for holiday guests. Then, we have the economy, health care, unemployment, and host of other things on so many of our minds. I encourage us all to put those things aside this Christmas and focus on the joy of Christmas. Focus on what we have instead of what we have yet to get. Focus on family, on the blessings we have received this year, for having another year of life, and on the Gift that God gave to us on Christmas day. Take time to enjoy this day in peace.
